if you are into basketball, you can hang out at Sana Basketball Court in the old Salatha district near Sana. Pinoy streetballers play everyday in the afternoon and Friday morning as well.

hi to all...i will be in doha,qatar on 30/08/2008 working as a nurse.Ok lang ba ang doha? pwede po ba magdala ng bible and rosary beads?ano po ang bawal dalhin aside from PORK?i still dont know kung saan ang exact location ng accomodation namin.enw, i will be working in Al Ahli hospital.OK na sa akin kung may badminton grp dyan.

al ahli's accommodation is right at the back of the hospital.it's a nice place with gym inside.you can bring bible for personal use.

hello guys.......i just had my pre departure orientation yesterday, and the agency informed me that my airticket will be ready at any moment... im quite excited but i really dont know what are the things i should and should not bring.. any advice guys...? im starting to pack my things.. thanks..

don't bring PORK, LIQUOR & PORNO CD's..... but bring something for us like.... hmmmm Danggit, kinda weightless huh! (joke)

what and what not to bring, make sure your luggage is only 20kls for check-in and 7 kls handcarry. if your ticket will be Qatar Airways, register for the Privilege Club now so you will be allowed to at least an addition of 5 kls in checkin, though not a guarantee... dont bring your fave canned foods and noodles, shampoos, soaps etc as they are all available here in the filipino stores... that said... good luck and have a nice trip... im sure you'll enjoy it here...

but i was allowed add'l 6kls when i travelled back last july 16 for free... the kabayan in the same flight with me who is not a member was asked to pay $100 for her excess 5kls

It seems ur first time to work abroad. You can freely bring bible and rosary beads, but keep inside ur luggage for safety reason, and dont hand carry them. Likewise, dont carry also liquid items, perfumes anything pressurized, bawal sa plane un. I have lots of frens here in Al ahli hospital, un accomodation nyo right behind the building lang, few steps away. So try to contact me na lang at 5449824. Goodluck and Hapi trip
