Looking for interesting dinner date ideas

I've been here for almost a year and have seen the mainstream dinner places.
Are there any places out of the mainstream that are worth taking your girl to? Any suggestions are welcome...maybe even the popular places that I might have missed!
Thanks.

Try Al Majlis in Al Sadd. ...Try Al Majlis in Al Sadd. Nice, quiet place (you can get a booth, which could be romantic).

Next day i asked him how did the date go, he said not very well.
What happened?
"She liked my place but she refused to cook."

Souq ...I like to eat in the souq sometimes, sitting outside in the evening is really good, especially on the 1st floor looking over the streets, of course you should of tried this by now if you've been here a year.
Sorry don't know the 2 restaurants in question

ROYAL TANDOOR is great. It ...ROYAL TANDOOR is great. It is located on AL SADD ST.
Coming from C-RING you will turn left ONTO AL SADD ST.
Continue Straight for about 1km.
Turn Rt. at the corner just past the RED LIGHT and before the AUTOMATIC RESTAURANT.
Royal Tandoor doesn't face al sadd street but you will see it once you exit...It is two blocks south of Marmara Istanbul (ANOTHER GOOD PLACE BUT NOT GOOD FOR A DATE...UNLESS SHE'S DRUNK)

Al majlis!!! ...Seriously!
The restaurant was closed twice by health inspector.
The décor is worn-out, and you get the worst Lebanese cuisine ever.
I recommend Le central at La Cigal. Ask for a table with a view & enjoy the best California rolls in town
