How is current job oppertunity in IT?
Hi All,
How is the job oppertunity in Qatar in field of IT. I am working in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in IT and looking to move to Qatar if I get better offer. Please let me know how is IT job market in Qatar. What is the best way to apply for a job in Qatar? Online job application does not work good all the time, what I have realized so far.
I may be visiting Qatar soon in near future and want to prepare myself if possible.
So any suggestion, thanks!

Hi, askme ...My sincere advice to you would be not to come to Qatar for any IT related job. I saw your profile and found that you are a male. The only option for a male IT Engineer is to become a Technician. The salary is not that good for an IT technician and its really hard to find any suitable job here. There is absolutely no demand in IT job sector. I came here as I was left with no choice than to join my husband. There are hardly any job available in the IT sector. It might sound a bit negative but thats the fact. If you really want to explore new job oppurtunities in new countries, I would suggest you to try for UK/US.
