Documentation issues at NAIA airport (Philippines)

Unfortunately this is one process which is not really well documented unless you know someone who has been to Qatar and went through the process.
Your visa should be certified by Qatar embassy in the Philippines before you can even check-in with your airline.(But if you had $100 US then you wouldn't need it! I had a colleague who was stopped also in the airport but a hundred dollars helped him out.) I believe this is DFA process and not Qatar embassy process to protect OFW from illegal recruiters.
Anyway, just call the Qatar Embassy in the Philippines for the latest process. WHY? Because now you cannot go directly to the embassy in Dasmarinas Village (the homeowners demanded some peace and quiet). You have to call them to know the authorized agency to do this for you. I think they have only 3 authorized agencies. Please do not forget to ask them how much is the usual fee or if it is gratis. Don't get duped by wise guys in those agencies.

I just got my sister sponsonsored by my husband "family visit visa" and of course, I ask Philippine Embassy here in Qatar about the requirements and they explain to me that in the Philippine Immigration, they need the certification from Qatar Embassy.

To get the CERTIFICATION from Qatar Embassy, you have to go to their approved agency. And to release from the headache, I will give you the agency which my sister deal with for the processing. The agency name is Al Habeshi Manpower Agency and the contact person is Josie and her no. is 639164468095 her office is located in Mabini Street, Ermita Manila. They are one of the approved agency by Qatar Embassy. And from there, they will tell you the accredited clinic for your medical. Important that you have your NBI with you. Anyway, you have to give the adress where you want to deliver your CERTIFICATION.

NOTE: The agency will send it to Qatar Emabssy through courier and they will deliver it also by courier.. This is how complicated the system is. Before I forgot you have to prepare cash for terminal fee & travel tax.

I myself went through this long process. In order to keep all bases covered what I did was to get Malacanang certification for the following papers:
1. NBI Clearance (you have 2 copies - one marked personal and one original - just give them the original copy)
2. Marriage certificate
3. Birth certificate (husband, wife and kids)
4. CHED certification (if you want your profession accredited here and stamped on your RP in case you will work here)
Be there early and bring some money for payment.
After this, I brought all these to be authenticated by the DFA. Another week of waiting and set of payments..... hmmmmm.

By the way Malacanang and DFA certification are needed only when you apply for your RP. So you do not have to wait for them to go here. You will need the Qatar embassy certification of your visa and the personal copy of your NBI clearance.

Just have all the other authentications shipped to you as soon as finished. I did not have anyone to do it for me so I did them all before I finally went here. Just as I said to keep all bases covered and also because I expected that they can question just about anything in the airport so I finished all these papers before finally flying out. And as I expected, no questions were asked.

I'm a buss.visit visa also by my husband. Thru online i got a copy of my visa that he got here in qatar.after that i undergo medical exam.after i got the result of my medical i went to an agency that is cerified by qatar embassy there in the philippines.they process my Certification letter that i will use for checking in NAIA.
I pay 600+ for that i forgot the actual amount of it. it was just 4-5 working days process only.
I also forgot the name of the agency but it was located at roxas blvd.near pedro gil.
i will try to ask again my husband for it.Hope this simple info can help you alot.

it is much better na to have agency process your papers kasi maraming new requirements less headache...if you like you can compare rates muna para alam mong hindi ka tinataga ng isang Agency. this is my agency in case u want to call them and inquire:

I think the Certificate is the translation of your Visa. Other requirements like medical is different.

If I may add.... You dont have to go to any agency anymore, all ya need to do is call up DHL.. there's this new process. DHL will send your BC, med cert and passport to the Embassy and will return with the Certification. Call up DHL for other info.

how abt working visa? whats the procedure if igot working visa?

ang asawa ko po ay nandyan sa qatar at blessing kasi nakakuha sya ng familystatus sa kanilang company at chance po yun na madala nya po kami dyaan sa qatar kaso po nagkaproblema ako sa aking medikal may nakitang pulmonary tuberculosis sa aking left lung at nagkaroon ako ng medication for sixmonths at treatment finished naman na ako meaning magaling na kaso po kung magpaxray ako at may lumabas na ptb scar or ptb healed may chance padin papo ba ako na makapunta kasi mahigpit daw po ang qatar sa xray lalo na sa chest, ano po ba ang puedekong gawin at ng aking husband para ako po ay makapunta dyan and besides hindi naman po ako magtatrabaho kasi may anak po kami na kasama and he was only 5 years old. please kailangan po namin ng inyong tulong kung ano po mga gagawin... ngayon palang po ay nagpapasalamat napo ako sa inyo... hello ,im keyt,, just wanted to share my thoughts and unload my burden,, i neded someone po to help me,,,

  my  husbanad applied  for a job in doha qatar fortunately  he was called  by the employer of LA CIGALE,, that was  Feb,,, until now were waiting for the  visa,,,  the agency told us   that its on the  process ,, the agency  was  registered naman po sa POEA ,,,  hanggang ngaun po inaantay namin  ang visa,, how long will it take po b ?  and is there a way   na  ma chk  kung on the process nga ,,,   we already called the employer ,even made a follow up in the agency,,,   help me naman po what to do ,,,  just last  nyt ,, umiiyak ,,, humahagulgol,,,ang asawa ko  niyapos ako  and  parang sinasaksak ang puso ko ng ilang beses,,, alam ko  marami siyang pangarap  para sa aming mag ina,,  hindi ko alam kung paano ko siya papatigilin,,  sana po  matulungan niyo ako  tatanawin ko po ng malaking utang na loob    God bless po,

tinulungan po ako ng misis ko na nandyan ngayon sa qatar para makakuha ng employer and i was hired naman po (salaman sa Diyos). nagpamedikal napo ako sa angelus medical center and fit to work naman po ang results. ipapadala po mismo ng wife ko yung working visa ko through dhl, ask ko po kung ano next move ko after that? maraming salamat po ng marami and God bless po sa lahat.

pumunta ka sa named hire section ng POEA. DAlhin mo yung result ng medical mo at yung contract mo.
Yung iba pang requirements tignan mo dun sa link na ibinigay ko sa taas.

Applying a working visa for you is a problem of your prospective employer so why do you have to worry about it.
If they really want you they will be able to get the visa. If their liason or representative is not that influential then they may not be able to get one.
Just relax and do your normal routine there.

It also contains the fees. She can finish it in approximately 1 week depending on how complete her documents and requirements are.

My suggestion is, while waiting for her visa, she should start her medical exam on an accredited medical clinic for Qatar. Please check it with POEA. 2 years ago I did mine in SM Lazo, some did it in Angelus.
Please check because now I do not know who are accredited because there was news last year that there were clinics whose accreditation were revoked due to irregularities.
