Qatar attempted to deal with the issues surrounding the intense heat, highlighted in a Fifa technical report, and encouraged the governing body to take the World Cup to new territories.

The short movies are Australian production!
Money sure buys almost everything. It didn’t buy talent or skills but it can fool those who don’t know better where the presentation's inputs came from!
Isn’t it sad when money is the only Qatari input? Particularly when this money is not even earned as the result of personal efforts!

However, the speeches was spoken from the heart by Eloquent young Qataris who have not fluffed their lines or read out dryly from a script

Nic that's incorrect... ...That's an incorrect statement that "none" of the presentation material was done by Qatari's and secondly the films were not an australian production - some part of it might have been sub-contracted,one director being aus and the company does have a Sydney office but it is not an australian production.
All Bid Committee's whether it be for Olympic Games or World depend on the global consultancy pool to deliver and market their bids.

I thought the fluency of the young men representing Qatar ...was impressive. I felt they really out-shined the Sheikha who although lovely as always, was not a very dynamic speaker (in my opinion) and not as gifted with fluent pronunciation of English.

That surprised me Nic ...I just assumed she would be because I have only ever heard and read statements that glorified her (and much of it deserved in my opinion) so I was quite taken aback. Again, let me say that the young male spokesmen were great orators.

Go to YouTube and search the only interview she did with Aljazeera. Not only you'll be shocked by the level of eloquence but also you will have doubts if she has the academic achievements usually attributed to her. The substance of her words and the level of general knowledge displayed are quite low. Many responses were helped out by the interviewer himself.

presentation ...The presentation was excellent and luckily I speak French and Spanish so I appreciated the eloquence of those speeches.

Agreed about that part Oryx ...(the eloquence of the French and the Spanish). But I didn't like the emotional manipulation of the presentation by bringing in politics. Just my opinion.

Were you here during the 2006 Asian Games to witness the show these young Qataris used to perform on the Qatari roads with their flashy cars? Did you witness they spinning skills in traffic-lights, blocking the traffic in the 4 directions and spinning their cars in the middle of the cross-roads?
If you missed their shows, expect more to come if they get it!

HH Sheikha Mozas's speech was ...HH Sheikha Mozas's speech was very very impressive. She touches every aspect that needed to get the FIFA awarded to Qatar in her speech and close to touch the heart. That's an excellent one. Seeing this, I'm very optimistic that Qatar SHOULD be awarded. To know the world the peace and love of Muslim world.
