Greek school/ lessons
Has anyone set up a Greek School or giving Greek lessons in Doha for children? We are new here with young children and would either like to offer our services or get in touch with anyone who is already offering this service.

My wife is a teacher at the International School of London, and my sense is that the school may be offering greek lessons for the students.
She was a teacher in Cyprus for 4 years so she may be able to help in the afternoons.

Ελληνικό σχολείο ...κα Αντιγόνη προσπάθησα να επικοινωνήσω μαζίσας μέσω του email σας αλλά δεν τα κατάφερα. Ενδιαφέρομαι να μάθω τι γίνεται με το σχολείο γιατί θέλω να έρθω μαζί με την οικογενειά μου στο QATAR.

Are you interested in greek ...Are you interested in greek lessons for your children or the opposite?
If yes ,there is a greek teachee in Doha that she is quiet busy at the moment but I can ask her.

θα ήθελα να σας ρωτήσω αν, μετά την επίσκεψη του Έλληνα Πρωθυπουργού στην Doha, υπάρχουν εξελίξεις σχετικά με το ελληνικό σχολείο που ίσως ιδρυθεί εκεί.

Greek school ...Eyxaristoume we have since learnt that the Greek Embassy is attempting to start a Greek school beginning in 2009. Until then there is a teacher taking children for lessons. I am not sure if it is Antigoni above or another. Please e-mail me or be in touch with the Greek Consulate in Doha if you are interested for more details. Regards LK
