Documents Attestation for Pakistani
I have been Selected for a Residency Position(Specialization) in Hamad Medical Corporation.They have asked me to bring all documents attested when i come to qatar.I wanna know from where i attest these documents.I am Pakistani Nationals with all my Education in Pakistan but i am in USA right now.What Should i do.HR department of HMC are not replying Specifically what to do

Best way for you i think ...If you get all of your degrees from Pakistan then you must have to attest the degrees from education commission of Pakistan. if you can take the risk and send you documents there to attest and get them back in Qatar or USA. When you arrive in Qatar you will have to attest them from Pakistan embassy 1st and then from Qatar foreign office. You will then be able to submit your papers. Here the attestation process is easy but you must have to attest them from Pakistan. Or you can try from Pakistan embassy USA.

Degree Attestation from HEC Islamabad ...For employment in Gulf countries you will need to get all your degrees attested by;
1. HEC Islamabad (check their website)

2. You have to create your ID on the HEC website, your pakistani national id card number is your login-id.
3. Enter all your degree details accurately, if u make a mistake in the name or the year of the degree issue, THEN you CANNOT correct it. So be very careful and be accurate.
4. You have to send all the original degree's i.e. Matric/Olevel, Intermediate/Alevel, Bachelor etc. It is also wise that you include 2 photocopies of the degrees and get the photocopies also attested.
5. Photocopy of your NIC... check the requirements on website.
After your degrees are attested by HEC... you will get a Receipt... this receipt from HEC is very important. Next now you must get your degrees attested by Embassy in Islamabad or consulate in karachi.
The Saudi, UAE, Qatar consulate dont entertain you directly. They have appointed agents, go to the agent and submit your highest degree and they will get it attested from the embassy.
Note: Be very careful, many agents roaming around embassies cheat people by stamping in their own shops. In such cases the attestation is fake and often people falling into this trap will have trouble. Such original degrees get confiscated and fall into legal trap and lose the job oppurtuinity aswell.

I would like to request some information from you if you would be kind enough to assist me.
I got a job at a govt. organization in Qatar. For my employment visa process, they require me to get my documents attested by the MoFA and the Qatar Embassy in my country (pakistan).
In my city (Karachi) there is the qatar consulate and the embassy is in Islamabad.
I have called both the embassy, consulate and a few agencies in Pakistan. They all ask me to avail the services of the consulate for attestation of my police clearance and other documents, as it is nearer to me.
I would just like to confirm whether it is same thing - attestation by the embassy/consulate of Qatar for visa purposes. Will attestation by the Qatar Consulate, Karachi Pakistan be acceptable to the immigration authorities in Qatar that will process my visa?
I would highly appreciate your help regarding this.
