Hey All,

I think you are all tired of these kind of questions but I need also an answer for my situation because I didn't get much info from earlier posts :)
The Question is; I'll get a salary about 9200-11000 QR range for starters, and also Company will cover the accom. (with furniture and all), besides they will cover the daily food expenses and transportation expenses (with staff). But on the other hand I'll need a car because my wife will get here after a while (preferably 4x4 as I read about traffic in Qatar :)) When my wife will come after 6 months she'll get about (I think) at least 10.000 QR also. So can you mates please help me out if this is good enough to both live and save for later ???

I know people that would come in a heartbeat for a third of that. I also know people that wouldn't come for 3 times that. 'Good' is a relative term.

Since savings seem to be important to you the question you need to ask yourself is how much can you save back home versus how much can you save here. If they cover your housing, transportation, and food then your expenses should be rather low, allowing you to save more.

Two suggestions: Verify your accommodations are for family. The "with staff" transportation and daily food expenses make me wonder if it isn't a shared accommodation. Better to check and be sure. Secondly, if you have children you need to find out their policy on schooling since it is very expensive

Thank you all mates :) At least you have given me a clue about the situation. And ICGURU thank you again for your comment. The accomodation is not a shared one. Everyone has their own accom. Its not a big one as I've seen but its ok for 1 person for now. When my wife comes also they'll give a bigger one.
Also here I can save also but not as much as in Qatar thats for sure. So I think I'll take the offer. Thank you again for all your comments mates :)
