Most of those ads for iPhone ...Most of those ads for iPhone in QL are Scam. Unless the supplier is here in Qatar do not make any deals.

2700 vs 200 ...Because, Muhammed12, when you buy one in the US they make you sign up for two years of service. Apple gets a big chunk of that money.

Price ...Price in Dubai is approx QR1400 - anything more than that and you're being ripped off. Is it worth paying so much more just to say "I've got an iPhone"?

Guys just saw one being sold ...Guys just saw one being sold in a store in Hyaat Plaza and it cost around Qrs 6000, the man there told us that it is unlock and it will work with QTel sim. BUT I would rather buy a blackberry curve 8330 than an IPhone.

In South Africa .... ...there's a COPY iPhone being sold! They are pretending it's the real thing, but when you see it, it's thicker, not made of the same material as the original, and even though it does have iPhone software, it's NOT an iPhone. It even comes in a fake iPhone box, looks nearly like the real thing!
Supposedly these come from Nigeria too! be careful of those scams!
