Monthly cost on Power, Water, Phone, Internet
I would like to know the basic rate for the consumption of water, power, phone & internet per month. Kidly advise us i will be travelling there soon.
Kindly inform about the average food cost.

hi ...Power is charged 8 dirham per unit and water is charged 4.4 QR per unit. LAndline will be charged 33 Qr monthly and local landline to landline call is free. When you call from landline to Mobile you will be charged 0.35 QR per minute. Mobile is available prepaid and post paid. Prepaid mobile charge for local phone will be 0.45 QR and for post paid 0.35.You have to pay QR45 monthly for post paid. Internets are available in different rate, But the most cheapest is to take adsl connection 512KB for just 200 QR. Installation charge will be separate. Time to time Qtel is offering free installation and two months rent free. Food cost will be 1000 QR for a person incase you prepare by yourself.
