I dont think there is any ...I dont think there is any Software Developement happening in Qatar, only implementation and support even if it is the big companies... not sure abt this correct me if i'm wrong even i'm curious.

But respected companies have their inhouse developement as well as QA TEam

Check with Mannai ...Check with Mannai Trading...they do software dev. for other companies...

Companies develop software for their business ...No specifically software company as such..
but companies like Qatar Petroleum and Qatar Gas have dev team to tackle their own needs...

Mannai is doing that and I have a friend there, but most of their work is Oracle based ... they got around 30 people for Oracle, but when it comes to .Net and Java ... nope they don't have that much ...
We did not say that there is none, but ... the opportunities are so limited .. Ras Gas or others will ask you for 5 years experience at least ... do you have that? If not then your chances are like <10% and if you don't know anyone there to get you in then it's <2%
