housing allowance

my hubby just recently took a salary/employment certificate from his company so that i could apply for a housing allowance from my company (as i am currently receiving only half of which). unfortunately, i was told by HR that the company he was working for was different from the sponsor written in my husband's QID. they asked me to get a letter from this sponsor, as otherwise i will not be granted full housing allowance. i am somewhat confused as to how to proceed, from what i know he is working in an american company that's why they have to pay an agency to get visa for my husband. can anyone tell me, what can i do in such a case? what can i ask from his company or his sponsor to present to my employer so i could avail of my haousing allowance.
