If he has the brains to go from the gutter to top...

I hope you're right..

Once he becomes president, he will have to satisfy a lot of lobby groups who brought him to power.. Promises are one thing. Delivery another..
I do however like that he very commited on bringing the troops home from Iraq..Let;s see whether he sticks to that or pulls a fast one..

Brit, re bringing the troops home. I do think we're gonna see him backpedal on that. Not necessarily because he's "pulling a fast one", but because like you said, promises are one thing, delivery another.
I think he'll find he's in over his head on that one.
