lol, I prefer that when my husband beats me he uses an open fist to the head area, the welts wont show and an open fist doesnt leave a welt.

Violence in marriage is not acceptable, no person has the right to beat another human being for any injustice.

A) DUH it isn't Islam

I think it has more to do with people being pissed at tatess because they feel she is trying to stir people up... FOR ME...Wife beating or inflicting pain is WRONG whether it leaves a mark or not. Beating your WIFE (without leaving mark/bruises) is possible, unfortunately...causing her EMOTIONAL/MENTAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL pain is much worst than physical pain.

I would know...coz i grew up with a father who's a WIFE-BEATER and who doesn't spare the ROD in disciplining his children.

The topic was created to be a light topic...but since we are of mixed culture and religion, it would really stir up some emotions and emotional views...

they answer the question same way, so look to the other side of the coin it wasn't to talk about beating like it should be there, it was commenting what parents and husband and wife (simply the family) should care if it happen ,it was guidelines not to beat but to take care if u had a fight or arguments, etc and beat happen, that must not happen in front of children, not cause bleeding or broken, etc it doesn't mean to be expert officer while beating its a remark that this injury means u lost ur mind so that is not acceptable, confiming in the end of the post that even ur wife forgave u ALLAH might not(simply mean it's not acceptable).
again it's exactly what big reality shows give as a recommendation.

The other morning when I arrived home from work. I was dead tired. I lay down in my couch and felt at sleep. Then I got waken up, because some dammed ants bit me in the left ear lobe and my right tight.

Those critters, when they bite hurts like crazy, My ear lobe was swollen cherry red, like Rudolph nose. It has being two days since it happen and my ear lobe still hurts.

amoud, lots of ants out at the moment...hub got bitten on the foot. I recommend ant traps...they work very well. You can get them the Japanese store at Hyatt.

I was not a happy camper for the rest of day, specially after I finish my 12 hour shift and I was dead tired.

You know what I saw last week? One of the gardeners in my compound killed a huge Brown scorpion about 4 inches long.

I believe all that watering of the plants in my compound is attracting all those critters to the cool surfaces.
