Besides - doesn't the local government share it around anyway? All those shares in Qtel etc were simply GIVEN to locals, who now live off the dividends and what they can borrow against the capital growth in their portfolios... The quality of life here (I mean in terms of safety, healthcare etc) is also a measure of how it's given away, through infrastructure spending.

Does anyone seriously belive that his solution is workable? Given his theory, state schools should be abolished and private education will be the norm.. This means higher fees which many may not be able to afford..
