500QR or QR10 penalty?
situation:
A newly hired employee, been working for a month only, with issued RP... made 2 consecutive absences due sickness... when she returned for work she was adviced not to work anymore and they will cancel her work visa... after several days, she checked online and indeed she was marked CANCELLED....employer advise her to turn herself in to the deportation centre and from there they will issue her plane ticket to her country....
question, how much would be her penalty for still saying in Qatar? 500QR per day or 10QR?

penalty will be applied a month after the visa cancellation .....and if it is working visa it will bw 10 riyals a day

fiery, out of the question ...fiery, out of the question na kung ma-justify pa ba nya yung leave of absence nya coz i know that she has medical certificate to prove that.. but the thing here is the company does not want her anymore due to being a liability the earliest... sakitin talaga sya (kwento ko sa'yo later)....
gusto lng nya ma-assure na QR10 per day lng ang penalty nya at di QR500 dhil more than a month na sya staying here after the advise for her to leave the country...

business visit visa owen... ...dun nag aapply ang 500 penalty pero if working visa na hawak nya... 10 qr na lang ang extension fee nun per day...

After cancellation, dapat after 7 days dapat wala ka na dito sa Qatar, pede ka ng makulong nun pag gusto ng previous employer mo.
Pag working visa 10QR lang talaga ang fine after three months ng expiration date.

Baka ang nangyari ay Medical Termination kasi nabanggit nyo po na sakitin sya... baka madalas syang absent dahil maysakit aside from that 2 days? Pag ganun sa pagkakaalam ko ung mga medical cert pa nya ang ilalaban against sa kanya pag Medical Termination ang nangyari.
Naexperience ko p kasi humawak ng case na ganyan dati ( nung sa HR ako nagwork) kaya po baka ganun nangyari...

hmmn, ...owen, sa experience ko ng tarantaduhin ako ng naging 2nd sponsor ko, di ko alam na binigay pala ang passport ko sa deportation, at nilagyan pa ako ng kaso na absconding gayung may resignation letter ako after 2 months wrking with them (Sitaf Qatar)...ang masakit, nalaman ko lang after 10 months nung makakita ako ng lilipatang company, so from then on, nag umpisa na ang problema ko, for 3 long years wala ako wrk dito sa Qatar, at nung maayos ko ang visa ko, i have to pay 4500 for the penalty, plus yung 1500 na tungkol daw sa kaso ko na absconding, at eto sa awa ng Diyos, wrkg na ulit ako...meron pa ako contact sa Deportation, if ever PM me bigay ko number nya just to confirm ung tanong mo..ingat plagi, regards sa lahat ng members good Wednesday morning po sa lahat...

celia, cancelled visa ako ...experience ko na cancelled ang visa ko, pay ako ng 4500 for the penalty daw, almost 10 months din ako na parang wanted, pero kahit sumurender ako, ok lang, stay ako ng bahay, di naman ako kinulong, then lastly pay ulit ako ng 1500 naman for the case filed to me, absconding daw, na di naman tutoo, so bale 10 months cancelled visa, nagbayad ako ng 6k, total, bago ako na transfer sa ibang company...di ako nagkaron ng fair justice during that time na kahit na sino sino na ang nilapitan ko, embassy, human rights, 2 pa yun ha??? tapos sa court of justice, then sa peninsula at gulf times...wala din kaya, eto bayad ako, awa ng Diyos, may trabaho na ulit pero dami ko dinaanan na pahirap talaga...

Pero nandito ako ngaun under husband sponsor. I was cancelled last year october 2007, exit ako dubai, then balik dito family visit, then nilakad namin ang residency ko. na nakuha ko din nung jan. 2008 without release letter from my previous sponsor.... kaya na experience kong ma cancel. Kung paanong nangyari un... napakahabang kwento.
Pag ang cancelled na itatak sa passport natin... we have 7 days to leave the country otherwise TNT k na.... as bowlers says 3 years syang walang work. Ang cancellation po ng visa ay 2 years lang... so 3 years tapos na un automatic di ka na cancelled.
expired po kasi ibig sabihin renewable.... cancelled po ibig sabihin pinutol na ang validity ng visa mo or winalang bisa na ang visa mo.
galing po ang impormasyon sa kuya ko na sa immigration nagtatrabaho....

pero based on experience din po ng isang officemate ko last june, cancelled cia pero hindi agad nakalabas ng doha dahil mahirap ang booking going back to manila. so umabot po cia ng 2 weeks dito. nung day ng departure nya, after nya makuha ang boarding pass nya sinabihan ciang magbayad ng penalty sa airport immigration (dun sa labas sa may parking). sinamahan namin cia and she was asked to pay QR10 per day. cancelled man or expired ang RP, may penalty pa rin pag hindi agad naka-exit.
