Best Place in Qatar ...Its got to be the Louis Vuitton emporium in Villagio. Its fabulous, super, gorgeous and full of crap. no wondering they implemented a "Family days" in the malls... I think they have to let in the malls only those who goes to the bunch of shops to shop .. not to "hang out"... geez...

qatarisun - malls are more ...qatarisun - malls are more than just shops. They're specifically designed to be a destination where people want to hang out, somewhere with restaurants, cinemas, ice-rinks, etc and so on, as well as shops.
But I agree, if someone thinks a shopping mall is the best place in Qatar they really need to get out more!

i know tallg.. just to be ...i know tallg.. just to be honest i hate malls... back home i almost don't go there except of my favorite Yorkdale... but here there is no choice.. so try to walk in, to buy whatever i need and go out..never considered malls as a place for hanging out.. i personally think malls are designed for hanging out for the people.. how to soften it.. for the common mass… but since there is no alternative in qatar, so I guess everybody are hanging out in the malls.. any way except of me, who uses the malls still only for the shopping or cinema, since there is no any other choice…but I cannot imagine myself just “hanging out” there for whole day or so…better somebody shoot me, like Dracula say..:)

A very nice place to unwind,with fresh air not like exhausting,artifical cold breeze of AC,can have a cup of coffee & money saving just watching before the sunsets...
