Really???? ...Rakesh,
My advice to you, please dont believe what all these bankers are quoting. I was duped by standard chartered sales agents, quoting the rate as 7.49, and after few months they changed it to 9.49. They mislead people into taking loans from their banks and are cheating openly.

interest rates in... ...Qatar are very high,,,,its because they exploit the fact you cannot, without great difficulty, leave Qatar without paying these debts off in full.

Rakesh Kesavan ...Take a loan only if it is absolutely required and you cannot arrange the required money from any other source. I have seen quite a few expatriates who have got their hands burnt. I hope you know that you cannot leave the country without repaying the entire amount. Take a personal loan only if you have no plans to shift jobs and are planning to stay at Qatar for the entire duration of the installments.
