Second QL Photoshoot: Let the competition begin!

Hey guys! Thank you all for showing up at the shoot today, it was great to find such a great (and big!) group of photography enthousiasts!
For everyone who couldn't make it, here's a short summary: We started off with a group of ten people (and some impressive tripods and cameras) and as we were shooting, more QLers joined in and eventually we were a group of close to twenty people. I think we've shot the start of the Corniche from every possible angle! With all our equipment (ranging from small handheld cameras to monsters on tripods) we attracted quite some attention from all the locals, and quite a few people came to ask me what we were doing... (No need to say they were all very impressed and supportive). I personally liked the locatation a lot, though shooting at night proved a bit challenging, it was a nice setting to get to know everyone and pick up a thing or two about photography...

Anyway... now the important part: The competition. Here are the rules:
1) Only submit pictures of the Corniche at night. It doesn't matter whether you took the pictures today, last week or a year ago, as long as it's a picture of the Corniche at night.
2) Pictures should be submitted through Flickr. If you don't have an account yet, please create one at www.flickr.com (for free). Then join the Qatar Living group:

After the moderator has approved your membership, you will be able to upload pictures to the group to participate in the contest.
3) A maximum of 4 pictures per contestant can be submitted
4) Pictures should be called Competition_2_Picture_X (with X the number of the picture: 1, 2, 3 or 4). If you add the tag "Qatar" the pictures will also be visible on the QL site (not required)
5) Pictures should be submitted before the end of Saturday 30 June.
6) On Sunday 1 July I will pick the winner of the competition. (and make sure you bribe me before Tuesday, I'm flying off for a week after that ;) )
7) The winner of the competition will be required to organize the next photoshoot and pick the winner of the next shoot.

If you want to upload your pictures, but not participate in the competition, please feel free to post them in the group. Just make sure you don't call them Competition_2_Photo_X.
