Qatar Airways STaffs
Hi .. I am about to join Qatar AIRWAYS as a ground staff right after this Eid . I am on Grade 3 ..n they are paying me 3500 QR + accommodation. Only thing I have learned so far is.. the salary is modest to say the least. But I'll take a shot and lets c where it takes me from there. Can anybody tell me few info s about the accommodation of QR .. All i know is I have to share it with somebody. DO they have internet acess in those accommodation i.e wi-fi. If not how much does it takes to have an internet connection in Doha?? Do I get seperate rooms and toilet .. or Do i have to share those 2 aswell .... Appreciate very much if anybody helps me out on these...

its ok ...for all i know if your working in QA they will give you a accomodation priveleges. if not you can find some room for rent but its very hard to look for. if you want to save you can find a bed space for 700 QR but with somebody with you maybe 2 or 4 people in one room. the access for internet its depend on the room that your renting.

as far as i know, if you are ...as far as i know, if you are a QA staff, you have to live in their accomodations. they do not let their staff live sumwhere else unless tht person is a local recruit. by lately, even if the person is locally recruited, they r sending them to their home country n bringing them back on their company visa. i think so tht they no longer give u tht option of living sumwhere else. one of the accomodations is near Centre. i know tht much, but i think its for the stewardesses.

>>Grade 03 levels will have to SHARE ROOMS with another grade 03 employee. So meaning, in one flat, there will be 2 rooms, and 2 beds in each room. For grade 03 staff, it will be 4 grade03 employees in one flat...
>>Grade 04 levels in other hand, DO NOT SHARE rooms, only flats. Meaning, grade 04 has their own room, maybe sharing the flat with 2-3 grade04 staff as well...
As for your question, all flats are semi-furnished. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 has bathtub, the other 1 has none), 21" inch tv, landline (without internet connection), kitchen utensils (well, i heard lately, QR are giving a few cash to newly hires for them to buy kitchen utensils, check with facilities), beddings (again, check with facilities, coz some rooms doesnt have their beddings n pillows).. I guess that's it...
You need to apply for an ADSL connection and buy your own router if u wna go WIFI... 200qar/month, then around 300qar for the linksys router....
I guess i answered all your queries... OOoooppsss, btw... I am working for Qatar Airways - Grade 04 staff, that's why I know all this things...

What's your designation though? Coz your salary is somehow a lil for a Grade 04 staff....

oh btw rezwan u should opt ...oh btw rezwan u should opt for the mosaic tv+ service . will only cost u 250 qr's per month and free wireless router, tv channels and landline and its much faster than the 512 kpbs adsl connection.
