Comment by www.Moonsighting.com... It was impossible to see the moon in Saudi Arabia. The moon set before sunset and moon age was only less than 7 hours.
How can anyone see the crescent moon after sunset when the crescent moon sets before the sunset..

I found this odd too. So ...I found this odd too. So much is made of the importance of following what the Koran/Mohammed says, including using the moon for things like Ramadan/Eid, and then they just seem to pick a day that suits them for Eid to start.

every year they do that ...while in Canada all muslim not celebrate Eid untill seeing the cresent the night before.Muslims in western country are not following Suadi Arabia
