How does it compare with ...How does it compare with what you are making in Canada? It should be the equivalent of your current package plus a 25% overseas adjustment plus school fees and it should cover most if not all of your housing and transportation. In addition to the above, I believe that an annual airfare is mandated by Qatar labor law. Remember, you will still owe Canadian taxes.

I would try and get 100% ...I would try and get 100% school fees to avoid paying out of your own pocket. No mention of a car allowance in your offer. This should be included in your office.
12k for a house will have you searching but is fine for an apartment.

I am from Canada too. Just ...I am from Canada too. Just keep in mind that the money you will be getting is Tax Free. So Even if you get the same monthly salary you would be saving 35% or more on the taxing issues
