please help friends !!!!!!!!!!!
I have signed my offered letter for CBQ on 16th of august.....they said they have applied for visa .....can anyone tell me how long it is going to take for visa processing???......is it advisable to resign from my current job before getting visa in hand frm CBQ since i wish to go down for a short break to my home country before joining doha........please advise ...???

Visa... ...It all depends on the visa you are having now, when i was still working with my previous work, if somebody already signed an offer letter it means visa is already underprocess or either its done so try to ask your company mandobe regarding this....
Regarding your plan to take vacation, if they dnt need you yet, maybe you can ask them...

that question was asked before for the same bank ...Apparently resigning is risky, CBQ may not be able to get your visa if Qatarisation quota is not met.
Be carful with CBQ even if they promise you anything, do not resign before you have a work visa in Hand.

desertrose, you can ask someone inside CBQ or search ...on QL, I believe someone answered this question before, they do not have a very good reputation as I hear ..

employer has informed me b4 ...employer has informed me b4 three weeks that they have applied for nationality + work visa...whts this nationality + work visa??

forget it why move to qatar ...forget it why move to qatar :-) from uae. it depends from which nationality ur from. out of no where they sometime block visa for no reason for certain naitonalities so please check that also before applying and resigning from your old job. i had a friend who had a very bad experience as he did get a job for 2 places but they couldnt get his visa and they end up wasting 6 months of his life for a professional to be out for 6 months is a killer but what would these badooz know about professionalism at all hahaha...
so check frist if ur nationality visa is blocked these days or not! if not then still we cant say how long it takes they might say 2 weeks or 3 weeks whatever. but please do have a plan B.

Nationality is indian.....any idea whether there is any difficulty in getting visa for indians...??please advise
