the group is getting bigger day by day.. we did several gatherings.. develop good friendship amongst each other..habang tumatagal lalo pang nadagdagan list of friends natin... which leads to my question.. who was the first QL Fil Expatriate member you ever met? (can you still remember?) how and where did you meet them? are they still around? if not, do you still get in touch with them just to catch up?

junarch is still active, however i could always see jaxs online.. so i bet she is still updated.. and hopefully both will be at the BBQ fest 2.. :)

Unang QL Filexpat member.... ...Si Jammy... office mate ko kasi... although I knew the QL site even before I went to Qatar... starting pa lang yung site. Pero tulad ng marami browse lang ako.
Siya ang nagsabi sa akin na mag subscribe first sa QL dahil naghahanap na rin ako ng 2nd hand car. Kasi dati puede ka mag post or inquire under sa ads ng poster sa classifieds. Tinanggal na yung feature na yun.
Then later he encouraged me to join the new groups being started in QL. So I joined the QL Filexpatriates group and the QL Movie Club. Parang pilit pa nga pagpunta namin sa first meet up ng QL Filexpatriates sa Ras Al Naasa (May 3, 2007) kasi wala naman kaming kilala masyado.

it was near the 1st anniv of ...it was near the 1st anniv of Filexpat wen i met lovinni. then mariamar arrived that mtg and working mom. ang bilis nga ng meeting na yun eh. kaloka! tapos may last meeting kami before the anniv wen i met treys & family, owen, celia, pids, KE, eric, tapos late and bruhang fiery. sabi ko nga, sino 'tong starlet na'to dahil late dumating? abah! starlet nga. pero hindi sya masyadong makinang dahil dumami na daw ang dyosa ng grupo... pero nagmeeting pa pala kami dahil i volunteered for games committe. that time i met the sing & dance-total performer lady_di, shane & pj.
and ayun, anniv na! kaloka, dami kong nakilala... nandyan sila arnauld, reagan, patman ata, ang luckycham family, luckyjinx & bro, karin & vegas, yung dalawang mag-asawa pa na nakalimutan ko na ang name, basta marami po sila... pero tambling ako nun dahil walang host ng event... i have no choice but to volunteer myself again. pero bago ang volunteer eh pinili muna nila ako huh. sinamahan ng i will survive gurl na si lady_di... umeksena daw ba kami... walang makapal ang mukha eh. ako lang siguro dat time pero napasaya ko naman siguro sila ng todong todo...
event na naman so summer sportsfest naman... every month kaya ang activities ng Filex. ayun, dami ko na namang na-meet... basta masaya, exciting, memorable and walang kapantay na kasiyahan.
basta open ka and sali ka lang sa mga activities... at huwag mong mamasamain ang mga bagay bagay... may di inaasahan pero that's part of life... to grow and learn for experience.
