Anybody won a car?
Was just wondering has anybody here on QL, or anybody u know of won a car from Lulu, Dasman, FFC etc. I always see in the papers the presentation of prizes to the winners of raffle draws etc of the banks like Doha bank, Mashreq bank etc.. But never seen anybody receiving cars from these supermarkets.

Choco ... you know they run these campaign for 3 - 4 months ...and due to these promotions they earn millions of Riyals ... suppose they made profit of 10 - 15 million during the promotion period out of this profit giving away a 2 million car is like giving a peanut for them ;-)
Also I have never heard that anyone from QL has won any Car ?
Maybe there might be someone - God know better :-)

hmmm its interesting! ...maybe if i won a BMW i would post it in the classified ads here in QL at least a cheaper price and then i go back in my country and start a new business!!!!

to be sure ...according to consumer protection here in Qatar not allow to have promotion specially expensive prizes without winner .......all will have their prize coz the draw will done under their control and in dasman every week we have one winner and all had thier cars .

True, if you win something ...True, if you win something you need to get a paper from the ministy of economy (I think this is the right one) and take it to the place you won the car and THEN you need a letter from them to the car dealership to get the car. They said this is to ensure the winner isnt family of an employee etc.
