Beautiful Inland Sea?
We finally took a trip out to the inland sea for a sunset picnic on Thursday and it really was breathtaking watching the sun set and the full moon rise. The weather was perfect, good company, food, the works BUT and of course there had to be a "BUT", a really big one.
How filthy was it? Disgusting! For one of Qatars most beautiful natural tourist spots, seriously appalling. Plastic bottles, glass bottles(my fave, popped tyres!) fishing line, hooks!! Every imaginable bit of trash. Speaking of trash, those trailer park residents who like to visit these places and leave all their crap behind, DON'T!! It is supposed to be a national park, also with all the oil/gas wealth in this country,do they not have some form of national parks dept oing around fining people and keeping their "national treasures" clean.

inland-sea ...our weekly place to go during winter ... and yesssss they are full of rubbish. Actually on the way back to Sea Line resort you will see huge rubbish bin to throw out your rubbish when you finish with the camping. But it seems those place also always overflow. No idea how often they empty it.

Why ...Ignorance
Why do the people here not care about the natural beauty of the land. Perhaps people get confused that there isn't someone to pick up the rubbish behind them.
The Government should use some of their money to go and clean it up. The state of the place is really sad, they should also have lots of bin and stuff set up. The place is popular which means it should be patrolled and cleaned regularly. Ok its in the middle of the desert but come on there has to be a solution.
The desert outside sealine is the same, people have camp fires and leave all their stuff behind, Its all endemic of a lack of respect.
