How does your Angels opens its wings?
Just to share how did my Angels opens its wings saving me from harm..
This was happened only later last night last night right upon after a coffee meeting with the fellow filex group. After a jolly meeting, some from the group proceed for a midnight dinner , then the group dispersed returning each home afterwards.
Lifting three of my friends, it was a nice conversation we had while on the road. The ambience of travel is so cool with our conversation on. But when I last dropped the last person near Maamoura, so I have to settle to travel back to Sanaiya alone with only the radio on.
I felt deserted and seems I felt something different inside bugging every time I passes intersections, so lead me down to drive slower and slower. Yet my heart beats something different still so tend me to make sign of the cross from time to time so many times consoling myself just to steadily maneuver with my driving.
The moment I step unto Industrial hi-way, the road is empty with only dimming street lights on, I took the innermost lane and the drive was so smooth. Lessening down the speed between 60 and 80 is just right enough mending a bit to a wonder... why I felt so nervous that time… Not minding that while upon approaching Karwa round-about, I didn’t expect that it would be the scariest moment in my entire driving experience.
There was a giant trailer truck alongside the outermost lane going with me together in parallel heading towards Sanaiya. The truck travels slow, likewise I do speeding the same like him. But when suddenly this huge truck come closer to the middle lane then coming nearer and nearer to my right side and will obviously touch me.... OH MY GOD!!! (inside my mind is relentlessly shouting) That was the very moment I had thought I got 3 minds working together out from that matter of a split second….
The very first mind:
I saw that the truck wheel is a high as my car, that whenever it will first touches me, ill swerve my car cutting that perimeter kerb to my left of the highway. It is better to crash in whatever ways it may be than being crisscross by the truck’s giant wheels, plus there much more heavier wheels from behind the trailer’s wagon.
The second mind is just watchful and keeping the full control of the car. Sensitively reacting for the best reaction to do….
The third mind is recalling, I had already saw it in a movie. Just like a superb fatal action movie then there it screams … ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
I almost closed my eyes during this very time the tractor head leans an inches away besides my teeny car and only just waiting I would be smashed. i dont have spaces of road anymore. My left wheels screeches touching the kerb and is incapable of turning left crossing it on to get away from the nearing tractor head. The mag covers flown away from my left wheels hitting the kerb. The huge truck slowly eating all my road spaces and i would be banging unto him. Now, my whole body was still, not moving and shouting… ahhhhhhhhhh… yes i shouted with all my strength and closed my eyes when my hand unconsciously pressed the horn at full... I already expect I would be smashed.
When I opened my eyes, I thought it would be the end of everything. Finally, this is it, a wholesome life, breathing, talking here with you, interacting with your postings, Yes! my Angels opens its wings saving me from harm. Only then I recalled the sign of the cross I made so many time before I step Industrial road which kept my safety.
The truck turn back then straight to the middle lane. yes i believe the Angels are everywhere anytime and again yes!! the truck driver is obviously sleeping. Bullying him with one minute stinging horns and gesturing f’ck you!! i dont know on what to do then, i planned of halting him but am afraid he would intentionally smashed me if ill place my car on his way.... anyways... am still thankful i am alive.

on the same night ... me too ...on the same night ... me too gave enlighthenment for others in return to the safety i got during that time.
so when just i entered the street heading to my accomodation around 2AM...... at my mirror, there was one car kept chasing on me and kept flashing his high beam towards me... so i gave him a flash of a left turn signal instead. Slowing down, actually its been already our gate. He then park his two-door sports MERC right beside my car, open his window, his inner lightings and gestures towards me to help him something ... and oh!! a man in a white thob.... am still seating at my car unbuckling the belt... so then, i ask him "UNDERSTAND ENGLISH?" . "Yeah" he replied. Which way to take to Salwas, he added... "I've been from Dubai and i am lost... ive been roaming around this place for an hour yet my collegue cannot also find me. i dont know which place i am."
So i get down my car and confirm his car number... so no doubt ... this man is desperately seeking help... i told him.. you might lost as well if i would give u hints how the way to SALwa... do u have paper and pen? "pen only"...he replied.
Come down... i told him. took some few pieces of stones and demonstrate stones as round about and draw lines with directions... it took us around more than 15 minutes before he fully comprehend the road directions am telling about... and so he should coz he couldnt bring the drawing in his pocket... he left afterwards.
so before i laid my back on my bed... i realized.. somehow we need to be also an Angel to others as other's Angels would also help you wherever you are along your ways...

i had the same challenging experience while on the road. this may take time to read, a long post...
it was about more than a year now. when there is still the old ras abu abboud flyover. it was 2pm, coming from my client in Mathar Qadeem, i decided to pass ras abu abboud on my way home to drop by at kfc. i havent eaten since morning, i was starving and that's the fastest i could get. after passing the vip r/a (clock r/a), there are 2 trailer trucks carrying porta-cabin. those used as workers' accommodation in camps. there is a police patrol car serving as escort behind them. since i was really in a hurry (and honestly, im not used to driving slow) i passed the patrol car and overtaked 2nd truck as well. just as i was about to overtake the 1st truck, we reached the round about under ras abu abboud flyover. since the trailer is turning left, he occupied the outermost lane and turn the head of the trailer to the left which render the truck to block the whole round about. i was behind the truck at that time when i heard a loud 'bang'... the porta-cabin hit the flyover. hearing skid sounds, i just saw it falling little by little towards my car. seeing this huge and heavy metal structure falling in front of me led me at my scariest moment. i have never felt so scared loosing my life until then. in a second or two, i found myself looking at the rear view mirror, a land cruiser is fast approaching. i was thinking about opening my door and running away... my knees started to numb...
another split a of second, i didnt allow my fear overcome me... reflex and defensive driving skills sinked in.., i quickly drived on reverse, opened my window and waved my hands so the driver of the land cruiser will see me. i also gave him signal that the load of the truck was falling. just enough distance for him to avoid my backing car, i was saved and so was him. we managed to turn right and used the marriott round-about to go back to ras abu aboud street. just as i was passing oasis hotel, i had to stop my car. my knees are shaking and i can no longer drive. i just found myself crying... and i really cried hard. it took me some more minutes before i called a friend to pick me up from there. i cant drive home alone. the fear is all over me... i could almost die that time... thank God! He gave back my sanity at the time that i needed it most.

OMG, i just read your ...OMG, i just read your post... like everyone else here...i'm glad you're fine.... i know the feeling coz i had the same experience 2 years ago here in doha when i was literally being sandwiched by 2 cars... it was so traumatic but then lucky enough that nothing happened serious to me... i guess my angels were there too...

it is God who saves us from all of these ...I usually felt his presence while driving when I was pregnant with my second child .kakapasa ko pa lang sa driving noon at ilang beses akong muntik ng ma accident ,isa na doon ay yung karwa bus on my home from night duty.napailing na lang yung driver ng bus at minsan naman sa stop light muntik na rin akong mabunggo sa likod ng pick up truck ,narinig ko na lang ang malakas na break at yung mga pasahero ng truck halos lumipat ang mukha sa unahan sa lakas ng brak para alng di ako mabangga. Nkakatakot lalo na at buntis ako . Kaya nga I always make it a point to pray bago paandarin ang sasakyan and sometimes while driving I sings praise and worship to the Lord.
