Filipinos-The Way We Travel ...The Way We Travel
Your second piece of luggage is a balikbayan box.
You don't know the meaning of traveling light.
You've mastered the art of packing a suitcase to double capacity.
Packing entails jumping up and down on your suitcase to get it to close.
You're often seen at airports standing next to eight boxes.
Your carry-on luggage requires a small forklift.
You insist that customs officers who open your luggage repack everything "just the way it was."
You unpack and repack luggage and boxes in public in international airports.
You collect items from airlines, hotels, and restaurants as "souvenirs."
You feel compelled to give pasalubong to all your friends and relatives each time you return from a trip.
You drive a car which proudly bears foreign license plates to publicize your latest travel destination.

some facts about pinas! ,... other side of the coin ...Where Nora Aunor is an acclaimed actress and Boy Abunda is the best talk show host, where the population knows more their showbiz stars better than their national heroes and past presidents, knows more of showbiz gossips than their national history and current events.
Where cigarettes and alcohol are a necessity, and where the lottery is acommodity.
Where soap operas tell the realities of life and where the news provides the drama.
Where actors make the rules and where politicians provide the

To you Jamesbond 007 ...The Filipino expatriates Group is for FILIPINOS and those who wishes to join our friendly comradeship.
It's been in existence long before you became a QL member. It is the understanding between the web/site management and the group itself that we are allowed to speak our mother tongue WITHOUT INTERFERENCE from the non-Filipino QL members.
You are welcome to join us in our discussion inside this group and we are more than happy to translate what we were talking about here. In fact, if you take the time to see the list of members, it also include include other nationalities whereas one of the administrators is Palestinian.
I honestly don't find your request reasonable and I find it offending.
As you can see under the QATAR GROUP tab, there are other groups of different nationalities who harmoniously co-exist inside QL community.
Please don't go to the FILIPINO expatriates GROUP if you don't like us speaking our mother tongue.
I do hope you understand what I'm implying....
Jamesbond 007 said

gt.lucero.., pardon me but i ...gt.lucero.., pardon me but i didnt get you. no need to appeal to the moderator. they are doing their job. i suggest you subscribe to FilExpat group if you are not a member yet, so you can start posting in the group.
"Im proud to be Filipino", i have so many Pinoy traits. MANO po, as a gesture of respect for the elderly is one and i still have 'tabo' here in doha. lol
some of the attributes are very true. but i agree with Karin about CSB, il add La Salle as well. im not Chinese, neither a stupid Chinese.

glecs, it is quite obvious ...glecs,
it is quite obvious that you didnt get the point as you replicated the "racist slur".
an appeal is an appeal, anyone is free to speak out his/her mind without necessarily implying that the moderators are not doing their job.
if you cared a bit to be enlightened, it would have been more appropriate on your part to have asked in a private message.
thanks for the info Re:FilExpat Group
