1st birthday party

Hi
We have recently arrived in Doha and my daughter is about to celebrate her first birthday? Does anyone have any tips on a place/restaurant which would cater for such event. As we have only just arrived here we do not know many people, especially many small people so the place/restaurant would ideally cater for adults with child play facilities?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

places like Mc.D, Burger ...places like Mc.D, Burger King, KFC all do birthday parties.
Fun City up stairs (centre point) also have a birthday party. They have soft play for kiddies under 5 abd above 5 in different section.
Dairy Queen would be nice too ... have a softplay that the area not too big.

Eli France Cafe ...They have a small party hall with kids play area on the first floor, ideal for kids and adults.

A few suggestions for you ...A nice special treat is to book one of the Friday Brunches. Some are quite child friendly, ie the Ramada and Movenpick.
If after fast food, another choice is Dairy Queen at Ramada. They will even put the child's name up on the sign if you are doing a party.
Bennigans is another idea. Huge play area that attaches to Restaurant. Also has nappy changing facilities ... not many restaurants have these.
Also, Ponderosa's near the big Co-Cop is very child friendly with a Little Tikes type playroom available for the young kids to play in. They do a great buffett. Don't go to the one near the Ramada's, that's not so child friendly.
Good Luck. I always think the first birthday is more a celebration for the parents as it brings back all the memories of .. this time last year etc. :-)
