Good Evening to you all , Owen, Gypsy, Corne ... how is everyone doing these days? I was not active on QL these days and yes it is because I find it somehow boring. It is not our fault that it is getting boring, I've done nothing to be put with those kind of men that you are talking about guys ... what happened there?
Guess that everything is going fine and you bet, men are such an annoying creatures ... when they are there it is bad and when they are not .. I guess that you would be missing them some how :), right?

when I was a youngster, we had breakfast, dinner and tea. If posh you had HIGH tea at 4.00 pm (similar to a breakfast) and tea (sandwiches or whatever) later in the evening.

Then someone discovered protocol and the middle classes went into Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Latterly, none of us refer to Dinner unless you are at a grand affair and at one point people were inviting people around for Supper, which really is something you eat prior to going to bed, but ......

Dinner at midday (lunchtime) used to be considered very 'working class' but I'm sure it will come back into vogue. Basically dinner probably just means the main meal of the day.

Apologies if this post is way out of day (on this thread I mean) but you are all posting so fast I can't keep up!

And anyway, my 'meal' is ready :o) - its dhall, by the way!!! hahaha
