I am interested to join, but ...I am interested to join, but there should have been somebody who will be in-charge of this to guide the group. I remember I posted some about the loiters in the beaches ages ago but it just went dead - going down the drain!
WE have so many ideas on volunteering activities for Qatar but it seems nobody is taking action or perhaps they're too busy doing something or no time at all.
We want somebody who can worm their way on how to go around this volunteering activities. Who knows something about the 'law' or procedures esp on government aspects. We want A guide or a true leader.

Frankly oamonteiro I dont ...Frankly oamonteiro I dont know. That is precisely what I am driving at - 'something to be done' - but I would appreciate if we can page some admin in this group so that we will know the status or any updates regarding this matter.
We might never knew they are also pondering or concocting some ideas and will announce to the group before it can be implemented. Lets just cross our fingers. Otherwise, this group is a dead meat.!

and then..probably fix up a convenient date n venue for everyone to meet up....discuss these ideas....and chart out a program and schedule acceptable to all...

Ambut that will be fine with ...Ambut that will be fine with me. I will be waiting for the 'go-signal' from some of our members here. I am available for a meeting with the group after 530PM anyday. If the leader could please PM us of the date & venue, that would be a welcome respite.
Hope everyone will be active; as it is we should be the one who is more busier - - but....

Willing to Participate ...Hi All
I am new to Qatar so I don't have any of the knowledge of how things work here for volunteering but I am willing to participate and contribute as I can.
Unfortunately my official work hours in the evening go till 8 pm so I would prefer a later start for an meeting, perhaps at least after 7:30.
I can offer my office boardroom as the location if that helps. Our office is in Bin Mahmoud very close to the Al Sadd signal on C ring road.
Lets get togther and hash out what the plans are.
