Workers Rights in the Gulf
AlJazeera aired this documentary (in Arabic) on workers rights in the Gulf. It is good to see the regional media starting to cover the issues I have been speaking about for us long. Especially since (according to the documentary) there are 17 million foreign workers in the Gulf. Most are from Asia and Egypt.
Let's hope that this is another brick in the wall of the modern day slavery that exists all over the Gulf...

Give way, here comes the wisdom man. ...Hi,
What slavery r u talking about?
I give you the rules and conditions, u can accept or refuse.
If you accept it, then don't say I wanna go to mama or this is not fair.
These workers don't want you to speak on their behalves because u r gonna make things worse. What u r doing know is encouraging them to go on strikes without u noticing it. Do u think if this happens the govern. will consider that, no they will just send them home replace them with others from a different country.
Most of these workers get paid in one month what they cannot earn in 6 months back home and most of them r satisfied. Plus these people r getting experience for free.
The problem here is that our government r paying u British and American unbelievably huge salaries for doing nothing so that when u compare yours to them workers u feel they r paid nothing.
Yes there r complainers, but who doesn't complain these days. even the richest people complain.
I think you should be busy writing about your country issues for example why don't your government ban porn industries in London and other parts in Britain unless u see this act as liberating to women from their mid-evil morals.
Or write about how your media is mind-controlling your own people by presenting the government point of view only (skynews) and praise it like it is the only solution and ignoring other views.
I think I've said enough for now.
