Safety first
Road Accidents are happening most oftenly in Qatar.
Every now and then you will for sure notice an accident while driving on Qatar Roads.
It has become very important for everyone who lives in Qatar to follow Traffic rules strictly.
Start little early and drive within speed limit.
Always prefer useing 2nd track. there is nothing wrong if you are late for few mins and Always keep in mind that "SPEED KILLS"
Please make sure to wear Seat belt.
Make sure to maintain enough distance with other Cars.
Use Indicators.
If you have kids. make your wife and kids sit in back seat and use seat belt.
last but the least try to make an habbit of following rules. so your mind will get trained and will automatically react for wrong stuff happening on road.
Bad stuff never come with Notice. it always happens suddenly. so it is always good to be safe.
Life is very precious. Please take care of it.

Make sure to maintain enough distance with other Cars. ...Doha definition of safe following distance = close enough to prevent another car to fill the gap! Definition elsewhere would be a number of car lengths which will increase according to speed of thr traffic.

always practice SAFE distance ...always practice SAFE distance in front of you and practice SPEED limit required every road you drive.

"second track" ...By your comment "always take the second track" do you mean the middle lane?
If so, then you effectively reduce what is a 3 lane highway to two lanes only as overtaking should only be on the left.
Or you cause people in a hurry(!) to undertake- illegal and dangerous.
You should drive in the right lane (track) unless overtaking!

Second Track ...I totally agree with your point.
And yes I mean Middle lane, I was just saying that it is better to prefer using the 2nd lane.
And the reason Why I have highlighted that point is whenever we use Fast track and even if we drive with the Speed limit the person behind you specially Land Cruser Guys will for sure make you to move to middle lane by using dipper light.

hmmmmm ...driving advice from somebody from a country with arguably some of the most chaotic roads in the world. advice duely ignored.
enforcement of law is whats needed here. until then nothing will change. the round-about (traffic) police need to punish (with very heavy penalties)the idiotic dangerous driving instead of being human traffic signals and things may change

Noted ...Personally i always abide traffic Rules & Regulation + Rules of the Road.I take precautionary measures & thinking in a defensive way but the problem here in Qatar roads are those other road users especially Local Citizen,When they on Lexus,GMC,Land Cruiser,Armada,Cayenne & Etc wheels they think themselves they are the owner of the road.So annoying even you are in the fast lane & you are driving in a certainspeed they keep you lighting,horning & usually they almost half inch at your back.Qatari is the worst driver on earth honestly.Sorry to say but it is perfectly true.Please we have also family waiting us to be HOME alive,please dont hit us.We love our life.
