LADY Gaga was forced to cancel a gig after extremists said she was a "messenger of the devil".
Fans have been offered refunds after her gig was cancelled because hardline extremists in Indonesia complained her sexy clothes and dance routines would corrupt the youth.
Islamic Defenders Front called Lady Gaga a “messenger of the devil” and vowed to turn out at the airport by the thousands if she tried to step off the plane.
Others bought tickets to Born This Way Ball tour so they could wreak havoc during the pop diva's concert from inside the 52,000-seat stadium in the capital, Jakarta.
Hundreds held protests waving placards saying, 'go to hell Lady Gaga'.

Many local dangdut singers ...Many local dangdut singers are actually worse than Lady Gaga in the way how they dress and profinity in thier songs are beyond anything and yet nobody has said anything about them. let alone cancelling their shows. If Lady Gaga is banned in Indonesia there should be a better reason than the way she dresses.
I'm not a fan of hers and I'm not going to watch her either if she performs in Qatar, but it's unfair that she is banned for a ridiculous reason.

As for the OP, this lady Gaga must be very gutsy to still go perform after all these threats and even more so her fans. Hope her concerts don't end in any violence. I memo a few years back,during the war, some Bollywood stars staged a show in SL despite threats of attacks. And midway through the performances a bomb went off. It was awful really..a couple of people,from among the audience, were killed and countless injured and the stars had to be airlifted from all the mayhem.
Besides it's not like Indonessia hasn't already experienced terrible attacks.Who can forget the 2002 Bali bombing?
Hope and pray the same doesn't happen this time!

Ok, just to let everyone ...Ok, just to let everyone knows that Lady Gaga's concert in the Philippines was a success despite of the protest. The government says that as long as Lady Gaga is abiding the Philippine law nothing can stop her from performing. The anti-Lady Gaga can still do their protest as it is their right to do so. So it's a matter of choice in our audience, if they want to go then go if not, they can stay at home or join the protest. ;))
And I hope it will be the same with others., Let the audience decide for themselves.
