Daycare inspection.
I just inspected the daycare our son goes to. All good there. I was quite impressed to tell the truth. Fire exits upstairs and down. Good plan in place if needed. The staff said that I was about the 8th parent to inspect today!
I have just gotten back from Landmark. What a madhouse. NO parking anywhere. Villagio shoppers have clearly moved to Landmark. While I was there, I observed five people smoking in the coffee shops there. I also observed security staff walking straight past them and not saying a word.

People were smoking, and will ...People were smoking, and will be smoking. Coz there are some people who believe - God gives, God takes. I remember very well this kind of approach to life from some african country.... Very convenient- i do nothing, and hope that care about me and my family will be taken from above. But in some cases people are just stupid, i agree.

Something has to be done ...Something has to be done about the increasing lack of law and order in this country.
There is an alarming lack of law and order becoming apparent in this country.
In my 5 years in Qatar, I have never seen things becoming as bad as they are now.
The roads have become deadly, people are smoking in malls, anything involving orderly queues becomes a madhouse.
It feels sometimes like this country is descending into chaos.

you should have said what ...you should have said what nationality the smokers inside the mall where... :) but no need I think some of us already have a clue which nationality... (they are the only ones who would dare break the law here in Qatar)and to think there are no smoking signs inside the mall... and if you were the security guards would you dare ask them to put out their smoke?

kiwing, do you know that the new ...policy for daycare and nursery school, only at ground floor allowed. So ask the school if they have special permit to still use the upper floor?
