Just go to Madinat Khalifa ...Just go to Madinat Khalifa police station and grab one of the typist there and tell them your scenario. They will fill out the necessary paper work for you and then it's just a matter of walking over to the license plate section with both cars and your done. It's actually that straight forward, unless you have a loan on one of the car in which case your going to need a NOC from the bank to make the change. Good luck!

It will cost you . ...Expect at least 250 qr per plate for transfer and further 200 for new plates,I am not sure about the exact charges.Figures above are only approximates.I did it last year,but don't remember well.
