Hello guys and girls
Please help with information if its possible for you and you know something about it.
The story is:
Am a 27years female from Russia and i have been working in Dubai in company,in hard times of crisis i left Dubai for vacation back home,then due family reasonce i delayed (for 1month)with coming back and when i was ready to fly back i couldnt reach my company office,all phones was off and through collegues i find out that company was closed and directors was in jail (some cheques and bisness scams)so then i ask friends to find out whats goin on with my visa then...and i was soo surprised when they called me from emmigration office and said that in system my name mentioned as RUN AWAY FROM SPONSOR.As they told me later it was done probably because directors was in a rush to close the company and runaway and easy way was (not to wait for me and mabe other office workers who was on vacation) to just put me in that list and close the chapter. Meanwhile when i was tryin to sorted out, Bank opened case against my car loan (remaining amount 25.000 UAE dhs. So finally i didnt found directors (they're in jail for sure people in UAE read about it in newspaper) and couldnt find sponsor of company license (have no idea who it was even)
So now the situation is,i have job offer in Qatar (saleslady in boutique)and i afraid that if GCC country have the same shared system i might be stopped (or taken by police) in airport coz my name still in UAE computer system as RUN AWAY FROM SPONSOR and also i not yet covered car loan and bank run the case for remaining loan amount even they collect and sold from auction already my lovely car,i already pay off 200.000dhs for it and remaining was 25.000dhs only,so i lost car:(
Guys please,do anyone knows in my situation can i move in Qatar and work there or i cannot and i might be takin in jail or something.

Travel Ban ...Well just to clarify if an employee is out of UAE, No employer can put an absconder case.....just not legally allowed even if you had delayed your joining the duties.Pretty sure about this.
Secondly as far as loan is concerned, if the bank has moved your case to the immigration, there might be an issue if you get back to UAE, as you will be caught at the airport.
Now for coming to Qatar, it may be touch and go as there have been some cases where in people were caught in Qatar for UAE immigration issue.
Will suggest you to tell some of your friend in UAE to check if your name is there in the black list of immigration.

My opinion is since you were ...My opinion is since you were on leave at that time, it is improbable that your sponsor will put you as absconding since you were out of UAE during that time. Your name will register in the immigration list as out of the country with valid exit permit and not absconding.
The more important issue is your loan from the bank in UAE. I would suggest that you pay and settle your dues first before coming over. Get a clearance from the bank. If your bank has already filed a case against you for non-payment of loan, then your name would most likely be in the shared GCC Immigration watchlist. No, they will not put you in jail but you will be deported most probably. Good Luck.

Sort out your finances first. ...Sort out your finances first. Make sure everything is square with your bank. Contact them and be open and explicit with them. There is an information sharing system between U.A.E. and Qatar, but it has more to do with finances and criminals than employment issues. Good luck.

It was Lexus GS300 2007 model, i buy it before (with 45% downpayment) i join that company,price was 220.000dhs for brand new,so i pay off 195.000dhs and when i was tooo close to finish car loan all this happened.
Few girls,friend of mine they have Lexuses as well,GS and IS, so keep in mind that Russian girl with a good salary prefer Lexus. Good car i can say...good,sensitive,light steering (not like in BMW) and many other things...)))) Damn...i miss my car!((

Well...but they did! I was ...Well...but they did! I was out of Dubai and they knew that i have left for vacation and at the end they add me in "runaway from sponsor" list. I have try to sorted out through UAE Embassy in Russia,they answer is: since crisis hits the Country and some of industries (especially Real Estate Market) Its not the first time we have face this kind of problems, and sorry but we cant do nothing coz we not dealing with issues like this,ask someone in UAE to try to find sponsor of that company and let him remove your name from list coz he is the one who can!

here's my two cents, ...you maybe able to enter Qatar but when the time comes they apply for your RP, that's the time the issue about UAE will come out. They will not put you in jail at once but will advise you to settle your problem in UAE. The authorities here will confiscate your passport until the time you can furnish them the clearance or whatever compromise you signed with UAE bank or the authorities there regarding your "absconding" issue.
So my advise is before even travelling here, find a solution or compromise so you won't encounter a potential big headache when your RP be processed here.

If i'll change name in passport (and passport itself) i mean passport passport number will be different as well.! Then i can enter Qatar with no worryes?

Sometimes we pay high price for someone else mistakes like in my case i havent done anything wrong and because company directors was doing some finance scams when time comes for them to escape from country ofcourse they dont give damn about employes and what happened to them after that.!! So Sad!

Coby, don't even think about it, ...just the thought of using another identification is already wrong. And shouting it out is certainly wrong. If you're dead set to do it, don't ask for advise, just do it and face the consequence. Who knows maybe you'll make it?

When i say that it doesnt ...When i say that it doesnt mean that am about to do so,it was just a exsample "what if" and by the way..its absolutely legally to change name or surname...its not a crime and ofcourse i wont break the law all i want at the moment is come to Qatar and start working there but this time i'll be much carefull with companyes ans so,i dont want to start all over again. Like it happened in Dubai,just because i join a wrong company and directors was doing some scams or whatever..at the end am in a trouble just because i was in a wrong place in wrong time. I spent many years with setting up my life in UAE and at the end it was useless. You can imagine how it feels when you have done nothing wrong and you face trouble because company directors was scammers and ofcourse no one of employess knew whats goin on behind close doors. Just untill you read Gulf News newspaper about it.)

You are misleading....... ...You are misleading everyone by saying that your employer has made a case of run away when you were on vacation.....this is just not possible and no one can do it......looks you have some other problem which you want to conceal.....and if you can drive a BMW....what is big thing is making a payment of a small sum of Dhs 25000/ ....you were living beyond your means and its you only who will have to sort it out......good luck
