CID holds husband's VISA renewal
Share our visa experience:
My husband and I are working in different company with different sponsor. We have a baby born here in Qatar. Recently, he is renewing his visa but it was blocked by the CID. He was told that he should change my sponsorship to husband sponsorship before CID will remove the block. How can we change my sponsorship if my husband's salary is lower than 10,000 Qrs. a month... We have been working here for more than 2 years now.

try to ...ask your husband to sponsor you.. if he got good company/sponsor they will find way so you will be under your husband's sponsorship like giving your husband a fake salary certificate

no big problem ...for transfer sponsership is not required any Salary Terms,
if u have a company visa not visit then it is very easy you go to immigration & summit the papers ...

actually the 10K rule ...is not applicable to you. Just ask your company to give you NOC to transfer to Husband's sponsorship. And the child, too. Even if his income is less than 10K, it will be done.

Ask detail from your Mandob ...Why CID block his visa?
I know many couples with kids who are under different sponsorship.

I really don't know why. there are many speculations, one friend told me it's because when I came here I'm under husband's visit visa, other friend told me it's because I gave birth here and I am not under his sponsorship...
As for me, this is the new rule and really do not know the reason behind it.
If someone out there could help us understand, why is this thing happening now...

This rule is not new. ...This rule is not new. Happened to me too but way back in 2004. For a child to be under the fathers sponsor the wife too must be sponsored by the husband. Meaning it has to be a family visa.
Ask your husband to approach his sponsor and explain the issue. I am not sure what the outcome will be but i do hope it is positve for your sake.

Both our company sponsor is ...Both our company sponsor is willing to give NOC to transfer under my husband's sponsorship. One of our QL friend here posted that the 10thou rule for applying husband sponsorship, is not applicable to our case.
Was it difficult for you to transfer it?

Nieer1124 - one step at a ...Nieer1124 - one step at a time. In 2004 there was no 10k rule...it was much less.
First talk to the sponsor and then the Manddob and get the paper work in order. You both have no NOC issues. Just get it done one step at a time.
Go to the Sponsor, get the NOC, go to Mandoob and ask what paperwork u need. And take it from there. Dont panic. This is doable.

Dont be worred Nieer. Right ...Dont be worred Nieer. Right now there is no option left for you. And you CAN get an NOC. Worrying and panicking wont help. Though yes I can understand your worry.
Clear your head. And do this step by step. First things first. That is talking to the sponsor and Manddob and getting the NOC. ok??? Now chill...:)

nier, you have unfounded fears, calm down ...Just submit the simple NOC, salary certificate and type a letter explaining why are you transferring from company to husband-sponsor.
If they ask you for more attachments, then that's the time you come back on board again.

I have the same case as you ...I have the same case as you are... this morning i went to immigration and i spoke to capt. ali... he sign my papers and direct me to go to gate 4 1st floor but wghen i went there they told me to go to gate 3 again... so i went back to gate 3 and submit our application and we got our receipt we will just wait for 3 days... and im praying everrything will be alright...

dear nieer kindly chedck if ...dear nieer kindly chedck if your husband position can be change. the clauses of the position in the pataka dictates his status if he can apply for a family status. it is not only about the salary bracket. kindly check with your mandoob of the list of position where one can have a family status. there are some restrictions on the position that one is having as per the immigration when my officemate went to apply for sponsoring his pregnant wife here. try to check it.

it will be a case to case ...it will be a case to case basis but one factor to be considered is the positions listed. my office mate had a position of mandoob yet the immigration did not allow him because of his post. salary is also a factor but even if you have a high salary the position will be considered. for engineer yes the position can have a family status visa. you can check your mandoob for details, before the salary bracket is around 5k or 7k but last few months they raised it to 10k.

Better check with your PRO as early as now. It is the new rule of Qatar that inorder for a new born baby to get a VISA, your wife should be under your sponsorship.

hi ...my visa was approved already after we talked to the captain for how many times...all we need to do now is to renew my husband iqama because it was expired last nov.26..then after that i can print and pay my visa...yehey..at last..after a long time of waiting...finally..

1. NOC written in arabic
2. Salary Certificate minimum salary of QR10,000 (also written in arabic)
3. Bank Statement (6mos)
4. Marriage Certificate (Red Ribbon and Attested by the Philippine Embassy and MOFA)
5. Employment Contract
6. Copy of Iqama and Passport (wife and husband)
In my side (wife):
1. Transfer Form (Written in Arabic) to be signed and stamped of both parties
2. Salary Certificate written in arabic
3. NBI (Attested) – (Red Ribbon and Attested by the Philippine Embassy and MOFA)
4. School Documents (Diploma, TOR ect...red ribbon and attested)

finally ...updates for everyone:)
after a long process of our visa..it took more than 5mos of waiting, processing, coming and going to Immigration for us to finished my visa...on Feb. 18, 2013 I got my RP stamped and under my husband sponsorship. Now, we can go to Philippines right away...were supposed to go for vacation last Dec. but bcoz of this new law we re-schedule our flight.
we spend QR2000 for the changing of sponsorship from company to husband plus baby renewal of visa QR400.
Thanks God! Finally, i got my visa and all also for my baby visa renewed.
