Importing motorcycle in to Qatar from the UK
I have seen some posts on this subject already but the information is contradicting to say the least!
Could anyone clarify what the rules and regulations are with regard to importing a motorcycle in to Qatar from the UK? The motorcycle is a 2005 Harley Davidson and is for personal use only and I have no intention of selling it.
All help and information gratefully accepted.

one of my frnd had imported ...one of my frnd had imported his car from kuwait to qatar recently and he had to face lot of difficlties at border while delivery as well as in madinah khalifa police lot of papers to be approved and he was doing it for past 3 weeks so best option to buy a new or used one from harley davidson showroom here

They have a specialist Household Goods and Personal Effects department so they will be able to help you with removals from the UK. The HHG Team Manager is Melanie Cooray.
If you just want to know the Clearance Formalities in Doha, speak to the Customer Service Manager, Christina Seqi.
Either way, tell them that Neill Rigg recommended you to contact them.
Though I am no longer in Qatar, nor with the same company, I always recommend them.

i thought of buy a bike from ...i thought of buying a bike from the states....it was a 2005....asked a shipping company for a quote...they said Qatar regulations only allow them to ship 5yr old bikes or newer.....
