Sri Lanka ...Born and bred in the largest city of SL, Colombo and that too in Kolpitty. You don't get more down town than that!
The capital of SL though, officially, is declared as Sri Jayawardenapura, Kotte.

The capital of Sri Lanka is ...The capital of Sri Lanka is Colombo bt officially it is Sri Jayawardanapura. the current parliament is at Sri Jayawardenapura and the old one was at Colombo. ppl still consider colombo as capital even though its changed from colombo to jayawardenapura
