Weekend Outing in Qatar
Hi Guys,
I was planning for having some good outing in Doha. Can you please suggest some nice places to visit ....BESIDES Mesaieed, AlKhor and Shamaal. I've been there but they aren't as lively as i thought. I mean not many people and not much to do.......
Its kinda difficult to pass a weekend when you have nowhere to go............!!
And one more can somebody advise if its suitable to go for a sand dune bashing or desert fun on a GMC Yukon ?

orion ...Find or make you own cotton balaclava, these high winds , sand storms are part & parcel of this region, just head out for the dunes with some friends or family.
I had been out 'usually' on the last week of July or early August for a desrst safari in Dubai.....

I really am not expert at all in deserts but just wanted to try something unique or something really adventurous......
Any suggestions to play in Desert with my Yukon.........

Yukon ...Ali, you can go up to the resort and drive along the beach for many kilometers. Good swimming and a firm surface. I don't know how you would go in dune bashing really, just my observation that the cruisers and patrols seem to handle it best. I don't think its about the power so much. If you do go out, you need to let your tires down to about 10 PSI before you go on the sand.

problem with yukon ...is the wheel base...it's longer than the LC and Patrol..
you can make the inland sea in the yukon...
