Could the water used also be limited to a maximum amount per person. We need to protect our resources and avoid unecessary waste.

First of all anyone can bring hundred execuses for nt going to mosque and even if gouverment put cold water for them still they will find another execuse to nt go. if the Eman is strong in the heart then hot water or any other reason doenst matter for the sake of Islam.
the water at home is hot , does it mean that people will nt pray until we give them cold water?? First ask ure relative or anyone who brings such execuses to clean their heart and have a strong eman and fear allah and think about Akhrah, that time they will discover that nt going or nt praying in a mosque becoz the water is hot to make wodoo is a silly execuse and unacceptable. i hope u get my point.

your reply to marycatherine's suggestion was very rude and uncalled for..she clearly said; until the govt. read this (lol) and implement your idea; you could bring your own water bottle with you to perform the ablution; it was just a helpful idea to help with your prayers and just because she isn't muslim like you and me doesn't mean she doesn't know what we are talking about..now aside from that; many people including me find the water temp completely manageable and can make ablution no probs; ablution involves wiping yourself with wet hands and not splashing around in the water so shouldn't be a big deal..people have gone through unimaginable hardships to follow their religion and hot water doesn't even hold a candle to that..oh well

i will give you the benefit of doubt and assume you meant water in general should be apportioned all over the country and population; i agree with that in principle..but if you mean the mosque water and that it is avoidable waste, then let me tell you there's much more criminal wastage going on than people doing their ablutions (saudi arabia limits ablution water btw)..ask yourself if you save every drop of water you could..if you haven't ever taken your car to the wash rather than bother with an equally good job with two buckets max..if you keep the tap running while you admire your face in the mirror or brush your teeth?..we all could do with a little inward reflection rather than try to play moral police and highlight all the endless problems with the world at large..and I can't help but notice a distinct anti-Arab/Muslim bias in your comments; you have denied it but the blatant subtleness isn't by chance..and that's totally fine it's your scene..but in that case, at least you could stay away from Islam/Arab related posts, not comment on them and just keep to the ones that interest you; unless being anti-muslim/arab interests you..in which case i just wasted my time typing this

First of all i am not rude with catherine.. i told everyone else who wants to write rubbish, she gave me a suggestion but i didnt put this forum for myself, i wrote for everyone, considering everyone's view in that. if you can do ablution then its good, help others to do with cold water. think about others also, as we r getting such luxuries in our daily lives, why dont we get cold water with this new technology. its very hot weather here, now ACs are implemented everywhere. same like that i m saying my friend...

So bring some extra water for your brothers too, while the authorities consider implementation of your suggestion.

Sorry, didn't think it would appear a rubbish suggestion, more practical and feasible in the short term until and unless changes are made to the plumbing systems which won't happen overnight anyways. Did not mean to offend.

As an honest question, have you asked the authorities directly to consider your suggestion or have you made it here first?

Why not request for a water heater also so that during winter time no one will complain that the water is very cold for washing?
