To be honest, coolQ ...I was always brought up KNOWING that the head of the family was really the Mother and hers before her. :D
I knew that the Mother was as capable (if not more so) than the Father in mending things around the house, juggling finances etc.
I was never a careerist but I imagine the women who 'gripe' about equality are those in the workplace who don't GET equality, despite being like the Mothers I mention above who are as capable etc.
In anything else I always felt being a woman was an advantage in getting what one wanted ...
*winking knowingly and batting eyelashes whilst typing and generally multi-tasking - the latter being an unknown asset in a man*

However I have to admit to being one of the griping women, never used to be till I moved to Korea, and started seeing that despite how capable and smart and all that other stuff I was the men still insisted on treating me like a child. "Ooo look at that, she filed paperwork" *patronizing pat on head* Or when I went back in January for an Economic Conference "Oh hello, you're men brough secretary, aren't you lucky secretary" *patronizing pat on AZZ* "You like men with money?"
I guess what I'm trying to say is, as capable as we are, there will always be a certain strata of society that will treat as no more then pretty little sexual objects.
Also, in the case of the West, the majority of women are STILL not paid as much as their male counterparts. Despite the fact that most women in the west are more educated and more accomplished. (I believe the current university rates are 70% female, 30% male).

Well...Well Women are always on a ROLL ...Women get to do the good stuff...and they can never be questioned when they do the bad stuff...so its always good for them...
On the whole...they're lovely specimens these women...in whichever form they come...they come as a complete package...in any role...be it...right from Baby (babe), Girl, Lady, Mother, ... they r sweet, adorable, efficient, and WE JUS CANT DO WITHOUT THEM...but still it feels like they carry the Earth on their shoulders...dont know why...Coolq when u get an answer ... pass on the info buddy ...

I shall be doing my research between now and then .....
My simple brain seems to be telling me that a childish drawing, comprising snails and/or a puppy dog's tail, could well appear as an abstract picture of male genitalia. ooooh YUK
Not sure where 'the snip' comes into the equation. (Isn't that what we now call a vasectomy? YIKES)
