go to the boat cloub next to ...go to the boat cloub next to the mariotte there u can be a mmeber for 150 rials per month and 100 rials deposite and u can go anytime and take the boat for how much time u want and they dont charge it comes within the membership + they will teach u how to sail if u dont know how to..

Sailing ...Yes either go to the Sailing club between Mariott & Doha club, which is government sponsored. Very reasonable prices. Just become a member and you can go as much as you want. Or you can go to the Sailing school which is located at the Intercon. More expensive

sailboats... ...They have a number written on the side of one of the yachts. I assume its the Colgate's you're referring to. There are 10 of them in fact, or used to be.
Personally I don't like them, because in a bit of a breeze, they're not the most stable boat I've been in. We're all fairly good sailors, but I was surprised at how easy it almost 'broached' in a not so difficult wind. Anyway, check for the boat with the big writing on the side that says 'For Rent. Call ???????' That should help you. They aren't expensive if there are a few of you.

REGATTA ...Join the regatta sailing acadamey, (INTERCON). they rent out lasers and the other smaller sailboats as well. Plus the rates are not bad
