Looking to buy a DSLR Camera
I'm due to arrive in Doha in 3 weeks. I am looking at buying a digital SLR camera. What sort of prices are they in Qatar? I'm just trying to work out whether it would be worth waiting or buy before I fly as there are some reasonable deals in the UK at the moment.

Better UK ...It's always better to buy it from the UK, as you can count on the service. There's also a facility to insure your camera for a premium, something which there's no facility of here in Qatar. (at least not to my knowledge)

I waited and brought one here ...I waited and brought one here but in many ways i wish i had bought it back home in the UK as you get alot more value for your money . i bought a 600D here for 4000 riyals which is about 700 english pounds and i no i could of got it about 100 pound cheaper in the UK but as they say you live and learn but then again it was a great buy! :)
