Changing my picture/avatar

How can I change my picture/avatar? I tried to replace the existing picture with a new picture? In my Personal profile EDIT page, I checked the delete box and SUBMIT. Then I Browsed the new picture (14 KB -- see attached). I SUBMIT but the old picture appears.

It is very important for me to replace this year-old picture of my daughter with the brand new photo.

owen said just let it be, the changes ...

just let it be, the changes will show like a couple of hours or so...we will let you know as soon as your new pic shows..:)

That means that we gonna see the new pic . b4 her .. actually i tried many times to change my avatar and it didn't .. i thought something is wrong .. may be every one was seeing my new one except me .. hehehe ..

sometimes it really takes time to have your avatar be seen, don't know either the mystery behind it..:P

When I had that problem at first I asked Admin. Ahmd mailed me the following:

"The problem is (some tech jargon follows) that browsers cache imageswhen loading a page, and since your "picture" is saved with the samename in our system, it does not update immediately.

To remedy the situation, do Ctrl-F5 in your browser (full refresh) andthat should solve the problem by clearing the cache."

It works OK when I change avatar this way.

First I delete the existing one, then I refresh the page and then submit that.

Secondly I go back to edit and download the new one and submit changes.

Seems to work. Good luck.

it happened to me once before...emmm, after deleting ur picture, try to log out, delete all the history and cookies, then try to log in again and upload the 2nd photo.

If you're looking for a problem, you're probably gonna find one.
