I was offered a research assistant position for 7000 QR. The package includes free furnished accommodation and health insurance.
I'm currently engaged and was hoping to get my wife to Qatar after marriage, but iirc family visa requires 10+k salary.
What do you think?

its pretty tough to get a ...its pretty tough to get a family visa for that pay scale man. Better talk to ur the company again. if 7000 is ur basic pay, you have a good chance.

Forgot to mention free ...Forgot to mention free tickets. The basic salary would be 6500 with 500 QR transportation allowance..
