Hi,
Does anyone know of any neighbourhood in Doha that has a neighbourhood garden park? I am not thinking of the Aspire Zone or the parks near the Corniche or even the ones inside compounds. Just something similar to the garden squares which you might find in other cities (eg London).

well there is a park (don't know how big is this one) near family food center, airport area. my husband once went there for a walk, it has a jogging track as well. you can try it.

There is a park on Al Rayan ...There is a park on Al Rayan Road. If you drive towards Family Food Centre with FFC on your right and go through one round about and then do a u-turn at the next round about you will then see it off to your right.

Gharaffa ...Yes, Walshie, any directions would be appreciated. You can pm me the directions if you want or post it here is fine too. We've been to Gharaffa before but not totally familiar with it.

OK if you drive on d ring ...OK if you drive on d ring past landmark on your right and take the first exit after landmark off to your right go left under the underpass and exit on the fourth road (so basically left). Then at the next round about (at gulf english school) turn right. Go straight through the next two round abouts. At the first set of lights you come to turn left and then you will see a really cute park on your left.
There is also the big "Family Park" near Landmark too kind of opposite Starfish 1 Nursery.
