Personal Visit Visa Validity Extension
Hi Guys,
Your inputs will be highly appreciated.
I got personal visit visa approval for my Brother whom sponsored by my Husaband, usually the visa validity only requires 3 months to enter Qatar, however his Visa will be expiring by next month (Sept 2012) and it was imposible for him to come over here before this date as he is taking medications now in my home country. My question is, is there any way or procedure to extend the un-use personal visit visa? let say extending for another three months before entry?

Kristel ...Please go to the immigration with the existing visa. Check with the officer there and he will advice you the procedure. Probably you can extend it using the same, but for satisfaction just go directly and ask them.

Yes, it is possible to extend ...Yes, it is possible to extend a visit visa before the visitor actually arrives in Qatar.
I did this for a relative of mine before the original visit visa expired, you just have to pay the QR200 fee again.

immigration sucks!! crowded ...immigration sucks!! crowded and sometimes if ur bad luck they keep telling you,come back tomorrow,..when u come back they will tell u tonight OMG!!...pissed me of!
