Quality Hypermkt Salwa Rd Miserable Buffet
Quality hypermarket on Salwa road is a good place, with a variety of products on display in the ground floor only. the first floor has a collection of readymades for all... But the indian buffet counter in the food court on the 2nd floor, is miserable.. there is never any food in the dishes kept for the buffet. when you ask the supervisors they say"a big group just came... or food will be refilled" but we have noticed that they take tooooo long to refill. even the refills are in very small quantities which is not sufficient for a group of 6-8 people too. the dishes are always cold and are never full. however there is plenty of cutlery available. and this gets refilled without fail.I guess the managers in the food court are least bothered about the buffet counter - indian cuisine. i would suggest anyone who goes to the buffet counter, should take a look by opening the dishes, rather than going only by the names written and displayed. Dont just pay QR 25 and get fooled.

i dont think so!!! ...M sure it would be just 1 of incident...... We regularly visit the food court out there and have had a very good experience. now common, where else would u get a wide variety of dishes for just 25 riyals.... now, if u compare with high end restaurants which charge 49 riyals and above to the 1 quality food court offers, u cant compare.....
The ambience is totally amazing with service on par with restaurants which u normally dont get in a fast food chain outlet....
Also, the food in the restaurants are so damn cheap with the same quality speciality restaurants offers....
As far as the supermarket is concerned, u will not find the varieties as much as Lulu or Safari provides, but its not crowded and parking is ample.....
I personally feel its worth the money u spend in.

Careless ...When they started few months back, food was excellent.Service was excellent. Management act smart by pretending they didn't notice empty vessels. This attitude su**s.

go to the seperate counters ...go to the seperate counters and don't take the buffet they are very cheap and good. try them not the buffet

Life Rockz, I think you are ...Life Rockz, I think you are the staff of this food court, it is very common in all buffet dinner most of the dishes are empty and it takes long time to fill, and you need to keep on asking them. its a trade secret.

this food court serves the real quality ...This place actually serves the best Indian food at nominal price. Most of the dishes they have priced for around 10-12 riyals which are normally charged around 35 riyals in other places. and its more than worth it. many of our client meetings are held here in the afternoon as there are very few good restaurants in Salwa road. its hyginic and the staff is very courteous. Luckily not many ppl know about this place so not very crowded.

Ohhh men.....you pay only 25 ...Ohhh men.....you pay only 25 riyals for buffet and you expect a lot of food to be served???? WTF! Try PONDEROSA a little bit expensive but fare variety of foods i think!

In other words the restaurant is guilty of only putting out what they expect to be consumed, rather than having heaps and heaps of food go to waste. Shocking.
